Fixed my stock mirrors and put them back on with new hardware. Also made a nice padded arm rest for the center console and got it put back on with new hardware and a new shifter insulator. This thing should be very nice to drive to work tomorrow.

Next paycheck I’ll be getting some OEM spraypaint to try color matching that currently-wrapped door, and the wheels will be getting a bronze paint job. Basically, I’m de-ricing the Miata because I see potential with this car now. It definitely needs a wing of some sort, though.

You’ll be happy you did the shift boots. I did mine and get no more heat through the transmission tunnel at all any more. So much nicer. Also, as gloriously tacky as they are, getting rid of the orange wheels and door wrap gives me a sad.
